Process

In our process, we deliberately refrain from any preconceived visual outcomes, granting ourselves the freedom to explore different materials and techniques.

We begin by working individually on our pieces and posting them to each other. These initial pieces could be layered, textured backgrounds or simple line drawings. They are very free and are for the most part inspired by the natural world around us. We often include fun elements that allow us to challenge each other.

The next stage, where we work on each other’s pieces, is a more considered phase. At this point, usually, we employ techniques such as image transfers, brush painting, collage or drawing to incorporate botanical motifs or patterns and attempt to bring the pieces to conclusion.
